Dr. Taymaz Tabari leads the PhotoEC Lab at the Faculty of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University. His research focuses on photoelectrochemical energy conversion, electrocatalysis, operando X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), and defect engineering in functional oxide materials for sustainable energy applications. His work combines advanced synchrotron-based characterization techniques with electrochemical and photoelectrochemical studies to understand structure–property relationships and develop efficient materials for solar fuel production and green hydrogen technologies.
